Hrant Allanak (or Hrant Alianak) was born in Khartoum, Sudan but has worked as a film and television actor in Canada since 1981. He has had roles in Street Legal, Counterstrike, PSI Factor and Little Mosque on the Prairie.
His work in the theatre as a writer, actor and director goes back to the early 1970s. Alianak continues to work actively in the theatre.
He played Dr. Jonathan Kaplan in the E:FC episode "Avatar."
