Donna Ivy Faske was born in Queens, New York City. Her mother Helen “Queenie” Faske (née Rabinowitz) was a model and designer, and her father Gabriel “Gabby” Faske (born Faskowitz) was a tailor. Both of them were of a Jewish origin.
